About Us
Patchwork Garden (formerly Leahy's Greenhouse) has been a Lawrence County staple for over 35 years. Janet Leahy Kern grew the business and has given plant advice for over 30 years. In December 2022, Susan Scherschel purchased the property from Janet and has renamed it the Patchwork Garden. Susan has over 50 years of garden experience with flowers and vegetables. Together, Susan and Janet will continue the great work that Leahy's Greenhouse was known for.
While many things have changed, you can rest assured that customer service is our priority at the Patchwork Garden. We grow almost every plant we sell, and we don't want to just sell to you, we want to support your gardening efforts.
